Pelican has the only elementary science lab in the Klamath Falls City School District, a computer lab, and student computers in every classroom. Additional programs include a full-time counselor, Reading Recovery, SMART, a media specialist, K-6 music teacher, P.E., band/orchestra for 5th/6th graders, and a strong Accelerated Reading program. Several teachers use Project-Based Learning in their classrooms and leveled readers are used across grade levels. Pelican staff is highly qualified and students receive an excellent education. |
