OMEA Resource Center: Publications
OMEA Publications
OMEA publications reach a large audience of teachers, parents and
students of music education in the state of Oregon.
- Oregon Music Educator:
The Journal for Oregon Music Educators Association circulates not only to
the MENC/OMEA members in Oregon, but throughout the entire nation as well.
Three issues are produced each year.
- The
Metronome:
The official newsletter for OMEA members, the Metronome is produced by the
OMEA president. The first issue each year is sent to all music teachers in

In addition to these publications, OMEA produces the programs for state
conferences and all-state honor groups. If you would like more information
