All-State Application Placement Notifications: Emailed to teachers AND parents (to the email addresses on file in Opus) on November 14th.
If you do not receive an email, check your spam/junk folder
Teachers can also log into opus to check your students' status
Parents will receive an automated email from Opus with a specific link to their students' registration page in Opus.
They will complete registration and payment directly in the Opus website.
Teachers and schools can complete registration and payment if they choose
The deadline to complete registration and payment is 11:59:59 PM December 12th, 2018
If a selected student decides NOT to participate in All-State, they still need to follow the link and click on the "withdraw" button on their registration page to notify OMEA of their decision (as soon as possible!)
Teachers can also click withdraw on their behalf
Once "withdraw" is clicked, this will automatically remove the student from the ensemble and notify the OMEA Executive Director, and an alternate will be notified to fill that spot.
Teachers: To view placement results for All-State, go to the Opus Event site (link in yellow above). You do NOT need to log into our OMEA site to register for All State.
When you log into Opus, you will see the homepage, click on Teacher Overview. Students that are accepted will now say “not paid” because they now need to pay the registration fees.
The links below are information packets with information regarding hotels, rehearsal venues, performance venues, and purchasing concert tickets.
Teachers will receive this information packet, along with music, at their school(s) in early January.
