OMEA Membership Information

Collegiate Membership

Collegiate membership is open to music students in teacher education programs at the college or university level who are not employed full time as teachers. Collegiate chapter members have the same privileges as active members except the right to vote or hold elective office. Each collegiate member receives a subscription to the Music Educators Journal. Collegiate member's hold concurrent membership in OMEA.

How to Join

Students join OMEA/MENC through CMENC chapter advisors at accredited colleges or universities. Students pay a registration fee which is equal to 30% of the Active MENC dues amount ($21).
