PRAXIS Survey
To everyone who has taken the PRAXIS music test(s) between 2001 and today:
A committee of music teachers is currently reviewing the PRAXIS exams and their current passing scores. Neither TSPC nor ETS records the number of times people took each exam before successfully passing. They only save and record each person's highest score and count that once. We know this yields an inaccurate slant to the statistics. We need to analyze the data and determine the average number of times people actually took each test before passing. We are hoping you will help us gather this data by filling out a brief survey and sending it to Tina Bull. We will keep all information confidential. You do not need to report the scores, just the number of times you took each test before successfully passing. This is very important to our score setting study and your help can make a big difference. Please spread the word and ask all of your friends and colleagues to participate.
